The Riverview Home

Our client expressed that he “couldn’t live in a boring box,” inspiring a design that breaks and shifts traditional forms to create a home that feels both dynamic and grounded. While the geometry introduces movement and variation, the design maintains a strong focus on simplicity, efficiency, and connection to the surrounding landscape.

Openings are carefully positioned to allow light and prevailing winds to move through the home from multiple directions, creating naturally bright and comfortable living spaces with expansive views outward.

At the heart of the home, the kitchen and dining area draw inspiration from the client’s experiences in Ireland, where gathering around the warmth of the stove formed the social centre of daily life.
