Babylon House

Prince Edward County, Ontario • 2024 • Rammed Earth Construction • Passive Design

Inspired by the limestone landscape of Prince Edward County, Babylon was designed as a restful retreat where natural materials take centre stage.

Working in collaboration with Vosjes Architecture, Aerecura constructed the home's interior and exterior rammed earth walls using locally sourced limestone subsoil. Combined with passive design strategies, locally milled ash, and a restrained material palette, the home feels both contemporary and timeless.

Designed to last for generations, Babylon reflects a shared belief in building with durable materials, thoughtful design, and a deep connection to place.
