Babylon

Prince Edward County, Ontario • 2024 • Rammed Earth Construction • Passive Design

Inspired by the limestone landscape of Prince Edward County, Babylon was designed as a restful retreat where natural materials take centre stage.

Working in collaboration with Stacie Vos of Vosjes Architecture, Aerecura constructed the home's interior and exterior rammed earth walls using locally sourced limestone subsoil. Combined with passive design strategies, locally milled ash by Rabbit Hole Woodworks, and a minimalist material palette, the home feels both contemporary and timeless.
