Delicate Matter (for the birds), Lassonde Art Trail
We were thrilled when artist Kara Hamilton reached out for our collaboration in the creation of two rammed earth plinths that form the foundation of her site-responsive sculptural installation on the Lassonde Art Trail in Toronto, Ontario.
Hamilton visited our workshop to work closely with our team, refining the design and selecting the colours and aggregate that would best complement her vision. Using her design drawings as a guide, we built the rammed earth plinths in our workshop before transporting and installing them on site.
It was a privilege to collaborate with Kara and contribute our expertise to a project that brings together art, landscape, nature, and sustainable building practices.
